Due to be aired on the 5th of January and set to run for two weeks, My Big Fat Diet Show is a program that’s set to put common sense back into your views on dieting and weight loss.
Presented by Anna Richardson who you may know as the presenter of Supersize vs. Superskinny, My Big Fat Diet Show aims to show the nation how and why we are gaining weight. Anna Richardson takes six women from Chalfont St. Peter in Buckinghamshire, affectionately dubbed the Chalfont Chubbies all aged between 27 – 50 years old who have struggled with their weight and various diets for years as well as battling with their own food weaknesses, in an attempt to hold a mirror up to the nation and highlight the little things that we do wrong when it comes to dieting and losing weight.
The show is well timed as the festive season’s memories start to fade away and the guilt over our excessive eating and drinking starts to sink in. My Big Fat Diet Show is a two week kick start to getting your weight loss plans back on the straight and narrow by showing you how many calories are in the foods we love and crave and how by cutting the calories, choosing more healthy foods and incorporating a little exercise into our lives will help us lose weight without the use of diet pills, herbal remedies or extreme surgery.
Anna and the Chalfont Chubbies take your hand and provide you with the information you will need to lose weight successfully. They will take you down the supermarket aisles to show you how many calories are actually in the foods that you enjoy every day with the 100 calorie club and show you how to prepare and cook some fantastic healthy recipes with a little help from England rugby star and winner of Celebrity Masterchef, Matt Dawson as well as busting a few dieting myths and explaining how the food industry encourages us to buy unhealthy foods
The challenge is to make sure that all six women drop a dress size in two weeks. This is weight loss at its most effective with the added benefit of seeing the results in right in front of you. Follow the diet plan for yourself on the channel 4 website, where you'l find the two week plans, recipes and more.
My Big Fat Diet Show starts on the 5th January at 20:00hrs in a four part mini series over two weeks. Tune in to find out what it’s all about and see how it can help you on your weight loss journey
